Sewage treatment plant for German embassy in Kabul

Construction of the wastewater treatment plant, which we designed in 2010, has been finished in March 2015.
The Federal Republic of Germany, represented by the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development is realizing substantial refurbishments and new buildings at the German embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Right now our sewage treatment concept of a container-based membrane bioreactor (MBR) and a reed bed for sewage sludge processing (80m²) has been finished by the company Mena Water GmbH. The cleaned wastewater could not be discharged out of the area (for safety reasons) and will be disposed of by ground seepage, but is also used to irrigate the park trees by drainage pipes.

Also for safety reasons we could not present any photos of the finalized project.
